*The Slickers were a Jamaican group in the late 60’s and 70’s. Their music was reggae and rocksteady, a variation of reggae with a more relaxed tempo, popular in Jamaica between 1966 and 1968. Consisting of well known studio musicians like, Augustus Pablo, Robbie Shakespeare and Earl Chin.
